Debbie Swibel is an expert in mental health management. She is a leading suicidologist in Australia and a trained criminologist, psychotherapist and counselor. Debbie is also a passionate educator. She is a lead trainer at Lifeline, teaching people the skills they need to help people in crisis who may be feeling depressed, anxious, or suicidal.
After spending years in the field, Debbie recognized that many people (especially men) aren’t given the time or space to discuss their mental health issues. Instead, they bottle it up, hoping it goes away. The perceived judgment from others stops people from reaching out for help. With suicide rates at an all-time high, Debbie was compelled to create interactive workshops designed to help sports teams and high-level executives to be at the top of their game.
